About Crossroads Ministries

At the heart of our church is a desire to see people surrender their lives to Jesus. Jesus said that the two greatest commandments are to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and to love your neighbor as yourself.

We believe that passionate followers of Christ have the power to transform the lives around them. This is what motivates us to serve in the community.

We partner with the Chamber of Commerce to help with special projects such as Funtastic Days, the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, the Christmas Lighting in Grimes, and many other activities. Our desire comes from Matthew 5 when Jesus said, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

We are partnering with the local FCA chapter to provide food and make a connection with kids in order to challenge them to lead courageously at their school.

We sponsor neighborhood Bible Clubs during the summer to teach children about Jesus. We do all of this to demonstrate the love that Jesus has for the people in Grimes and the surrounding area.

Student

Late last year, we launched our student ministry at the Grimes Community Center. This ministry is for students in grades 6-12. It will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00. Our purpose is to provide a Christ-Centered environment where students learn to filter relationships, culture, and life through a biblical worldview.

You may be asking, do all the students (middle and high school) meet together? Our goal is to have a separate middle school and high school ministry, but that won’t happen at the beginning. To start with, they will meet together for worship, games, and teaching, but will separate for small group discussion.
